Von Drachen und Kronen: Mit dem Fernglas rund ums Zeughaus

In the organizer's words:

On our discovery tour for children and families, equipped with binoculars, we explore the Zeughaus - the oldest building on Unter den Linden. During the dialogical tour, we marvel at the variety of architectural forms and figures on the façades and find out what "stuff" was kept here. We discover the coats of arms adorned with crowns and learn how someone could become king. We then set off in search of dragons, mermaids and other mythical creatures hiding on the arsenal façade. We try to find them and tell their stories.

The tour is about architecture, power and the rise of Berlin as a royal residence city. By using playful elements, it provides insights into the fascinating symbolic language of Baroque architecture.

As the tour takes place outside, please dress appropriately for the weather.
